Collective Concept
Collective Concept’s Challenge:
After a change in ownership, Collective Concept, a Boise-based salon, wanted a refreshed brand and website to reflect the new direction and new leadership. The goal was to modernize the salon's brand while maintaining a connection to the original identity. Additionally, the website needed a structural overhaul to improve user experience and visual appeal.
La Lune’s Solutions:
We began by collaborating with the new owners, Emily and Rebecca, to understand their vision for the brand. From there, we created a refreshed logo that preserved the equity of the original design but gave it an enhanced feel. A new, cohesive color palette was developed and applied across print, social media, and the revamped website.
The website underwent a complete reorganization, making the information hierarchy more accessible and legible. We also gave new life to the site's overall aesthetic. We incorporated stunning new photography sourced by the client, which was seamlessly integrated with the new color scheme. Finally, we provided one-on-one training, allowing the Collective Concept team to manage the website independently.

Our training empowered the owners to take control of their digital presence, ensuring they could make updates without outside assistance. The project successfully modernized Collective Concept while staying true to its roots, leaving a lasting impact on the brand’s visibility and functionality.
